La Cineantropometría o estudio de la composición corporal es la evaluación del peso, talla, perímetros, diámetros y longitudes segmentarias, siguiendo el protocolo de Society for the Avancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK).
A partir de esas mediciones se obtiene información sobre como se encuentra distribuido el peso corporal en 5 componentes: Masa Adiposa, Masa Muscular, Masa Residual, Masa Ósea y Masa de la Piel y con ello se pueden establecer estrategias de alimentación y entrenamiento de acuerdo a objetivos definidos.
